The Process

Our process is collaborative, with facilitators and participants working together toward awareness and action. Using this framework, our workshops consist of four components. 

  1. Content Names historical context, grounds in theory, and establishes a mutual understanding of how systems of oppression function. 
  2. Experience provides opportunities to engage with one another and find common ground in shared understanding. 
  3. Opportunities to learn and practice skills useful for interrupting their own biases as well as injustices they may encounter from others. 
  4. Application Concrete actions leaders can take in their professional lives to help develop more inclusivity. 

HOW WE WORK

Customized Strategy

DEI Consulting programs explore the intersectionality of 9 areas of social identity: ability, age, body size, class, gender, race, religion, sex, and sexual orientation. Learning focuses on the intergenerational impacts of oppression and developing skills to talk effectively and compassionately about identity. 

Cultivating real-life skills helps to interrupt all forms of bias and discrimination. Understanding and assimilating shared language: definitions, terms, and current vocabulary empower participants of diverse experiences to identify ways to cultivate action and build equity in the workplace and community.
