NCCJ President and CEO Dr. Andrea C. Kandel Retiring After 25 Years

(HARTFORD, CT) –  National Conference for Community and Justice President and CEO Dr. Andrea C. Kandel has announced her retirement after 25 years with the organization. Kandel will continue with NCCJ through the end of 2017, when her successor, President-and-CEO-elect Cynthia Martin, will take the reins.

Bigotry Is NOT An American Value

Some of the most prominent leaders of anti-LGBT and anti-Muslim hate groups are gathering in Washington Friday for the annual Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit, and President Donald Tump is their keynote speaker. 

Trump is the first sitting United States president to speak at the "Values Voter Summit,” however this isn’t his first time speaking at the event. Trump spoke at the summit during the Republican primary race in 2015 and in 2016 just before the general election.

Concert for America brings together stars of Broadway, film, and television, with the purpose of infusing Americans with hope and inspiration.
