Make a difference before 2017 ends

Dec 31, 2017

By Jason Papallo, NCCJ E-Communications and Marketing Specialist

2017 has been memorable for many of the wrong reasons.

It seemed like almost everyday, the news cycle presented more and more acts of hate, violence and bigotry. We have faced exhausting realities as the current administration made decisions that impact us all. Defending the marginalized and misrepresented has never been more important.

Today is the last day to make a tax-deductible donation in 2017. Your gift can go further and help NCCJ all year by giving monthly.

& Jason Papallo, Marketing & E-Communications Specialist

When we are born, we innately value justice and fairness. Prejudice, however, is learned and no one is immune. So how do we fight discrimination, bias and bigotry? How do we build communities that are inclusive and just for all? For 90 years the National Conference for Community and Justice has been answering these questions. This is the story of breaking bias—one unlikely friendship at a time. What can be learned can be unlearned.
